Just bought a dehumidifier and I have some questions?
I am using A perfect home dehumidifier for my basement this summer and the actual room humidity level is going up instead of going down to set humidity level?? The actual is around 70 and I set it to 45.
How much is this going to add on the electric bill if I set my A/C temp to 80 F while the humidity level is set to 45?? ( by the way its an energy star product)
Should I just return the dehumidifier and get my money back instead because I think the basement was cooler in temperature so I would like to go down there and relax when it was really hot outside.
Depending on how big your basement is, you could just buy a small cheap one. I got one for a dorm room a few years ago, I think it was around $40, and it worked great.
