Does anyone else here on yahoo feel extraordinary love for Coldfusion?
If I could, I would Coldfusion.
Having recently migrated to CF/MS SQL from the old classic of PHP/MySQL, I'm amazed at how much easier and more intuitive Coldfusion actually is.
I'm working on a site with Coldfusion/Coldbox in back and JQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 in front. Well, CSS2 anyway. I just want round corners, really (thanks MSIE for sucking as usual).
I can only compare the experience of coding in Coldfusion to cleaning my toilet using Mrs. Meyers. Yes, it's work, but you just feel so lucky to do it. All CF needs is lemon-verbena scent.
Does anyone else feel this way, and if not, why not? I'm looking for more creative answers than 'it costs money.' There are open source systems for processing these days.
